MOTHER TERESA POSTER
Programs Used: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign
Project Purpose: Personal Brand Identity
Year Created: 2023
The objective for this piece was to create a 2 sided poster designated to a Nobel Prize Laurette. I chose to create this piece in honor of Mother Teresa and her selfless devotion and compassion for others.
Process Work
Typography
I chose Neuva Bold Condensed and Source Serif Variable for the typefaces. I wanted a bold old style typeface for her name to showcase the strength she had with her compassion and a soft body copy to represent how she lived her life in simplicity.
Color Palette
The color palette is inspired by her iconic blue and white striped sari. I felt that it was important to incorporate her sari into this piece.

Sketches
The sketching process included grid and placement ideas with the timeline, assets, and illustrations.
Digital Iterations
The first iteration was planning out the correct placement and working with different timeline designs. The issue with this iteration was is wasn’t visually stimulating and had minor alignment issues.
The second iteration I was trying to add more depth with the timeline and adding more of the sari illustration into the second pieces. The Mother Teresa was lacking a typographical design the assignment required.
Final Work
Assets
The assets include a picture of Mother Teresa and an illustration of a cross I created on procreate.
Final Iteration
The final iteration I decided to incorporate the cross that I had illustrated into the “T” in Teresa to create a typographical design. I also incorporated the 3 stripes into the top of the second page for a separation between the headers and body copy.
This design journey showcases research, creativity, and storytelling to honor a remarkable individual, ensuring both visual appeal and impactful communication.
